Assessment without levels

During 2014-15, we stopped using levels as a measure of progress or outcomes within school in line with national changes.  We continued to use levels for Year 2 and 6 during 2014-15.

From September 2015, no year group will use levels as a measure of progress or outcomes.

At Parents Evening in October 2015, we shared with all parents and carers current Data Sheets for their child indicating whether their child is:

- working towards the Age Related Expectation for their year group

- working at the Age Related Expectation for their year group

- working above the Age Related Expectation for their year group (they will be covering the curriculum for their year group).
