Our School Development Plan is a document outlining what we want to improve and develop during the academic year. The staff and Governors work on the document using information from a wide range of sources:
Current and past school data – information about standards and progress of children
Last Ofsted inspection – with a particular focus on the Areas for Improvement identified
Other external views of the school, e.g. from Consultants and Advisers who visit
Our knowledge of the day to day workings of our school.
We have identified four priority areas for this year, and are working on a plan this term with targets for each area.
Priority Area 1:
Raising attainment throughout the school ensuring pupils make at least good progress from all starting points.
Priority Area 2:
Improve strategies and procedures across school to support and challenge learners with additional learning needs.
Priority Area 3:
Develop greater home involvement in the life of the school and in the progress of learners.
Priority Area 4:
Specifically focus on and develop curriculum areas of English, PSHE, and Science.
